Earl gets a lot of flack for some of his actions, but when he and I were shooting here at the Fun House (along with Johnny Archer), he was a real gentleman. This video tribute to Earl's career is excellent.

Gotta love the Pearl! I was fortunate enough to attend a pool school given by him and Johnny archer and had the greatest time. Earl Strickland was the nicest guy and he was clearly excited to show some of us ball-bangers a few things. One of my fondest pool-related memories.
Just finished entire video of Earl the Pearl... Enjoyed it watching it. Glad I was able to play you, FastMikie... and look forward to some day play you again. Next time I wont be so easy on ya.

Ricardo...
Thanks for keeping in touch.
Glad you liked the video!
"Next time" you won't have o take it easy on me because I'll be so out of practice you can shoot wrong-handed...
:)
Paul...
Thanks for posting, and for being a long-time reader of this blog. Glad you enjoyed the video and the blog.
My neck pain is greatly improved, so I just might get back to the table again...
